three leaves
silent pond

country road
a waft of dust brushes
past my shadow

little cat sleeps
in the garden Buddha's hand
first cherry bloom

cold moonlight
awakens the ghostly world
in every window

happy child runs to
the sound of door opening
Daddy is home

red roses in hand
the bloom in her cheeks
deepens

little girl praying

a star shines

in her doll’s eyes

across this bridge
goes no one but fading light
twilight river

morning quarrel
the taste of bitter coffee
rolling on the tongue

cold wind arrives
blowing the last yellow leaf
into Buddha’s hand

something you left
soak me to the bone and soul
never ending rain

cold night breeze
dancing across the pond
ripples on the moon

ravens fly over ..
the twisted calligraphy
on a liquid sheet

every little world
filled with clouds and the blue sky
raindrops on a limb

slowly melting
snowflakes upon the grave stone
my frozen sorrow

something only known

to the full cold moon
